Indonesian Chicken Curry

This is a well-known savoury traditional dish for a special occasion in Indonesia, such as Idul Fitri or Christmas. It’s normally served with sticky rice and prawn crackers. It’s called Opor in Indonesian. Some spices, such as coriander, turmeric, galangal, lemon gras and pepper, are the key ingredients to get an aromatic flavour of this dish. However, you can easily find the instant mix for Opor anywhere in Indonesia, and even here in Melbourne 😉
